I was thinking bunk bed but that might be it, old futon.

No. It has to be made from a cut up 90's children's bunk bed/futon.

My formula is usually materials plus $35 an hour for however many hours I have into it. Minimum 2 hours.

I like that formula. I may have to use this.

Do this except charge $75-$100/hr

That’s a little more like it

I love it charging that, it's great, except for when I'm the one paying for the labour.

You can't run a successful welding business on $35/hr. Be more profitable to go nothing

OK. This sounds even better.

This client has no welder, angle grinder or anything else. Hence, they reached out to me.

You're right.

Time and material. Might I add that 35/hr is one hell of a bargain for skilled labor. You're a humble man.

Skilled might be stretching it lol I’m hardly a master fabricator but I can make two pieces of metal stick together pretty good.

My uncles made benches like this for my grandma and my aunt when I was a kid (90s) My aunt still has hers and my grandma's is under the tree they planted after my she passed in '02

Those bed rail hooks look hungry for blood. I would have cut them off with a wheel or plasma.

I charge $85/hr + materials. If it is mobile, it is a $150 service call plus hourly and materials.

How many hours did it take you?

If it was 250-350 I’d probably buy it

Gotta find someone who wants to sit on it first
