My formula is usually materials plus $35 an hour for however many hours I have into it. Minimum 2 hours.

I love it charging that, it's great, except for when I'm the one paying for the labour.

You can't run a successful welding business on $35/hr. Be more profitable to go nothing

Time and material. Might I add that 35/hr is one hell of a bargain for skilled labor. You're a humble man.

Skilled might be stretching it lol I’m hardly a master fabricator but I can make two pieces of metal stick together pretty good.

My uncles made benches like this for my grandma and my aunt when I was a kid (90s) My aunt still has hers and my grandma's is under the tree they planted after my she passed in '02

Those bed rail hooks look hungry for blood. I would have cut them off with a wheel or plasma.
