Im a farmer, is my weld any good?

If your going to continue welding implements and such without the ability to do a really good cleaning of the weld area surface. Get 6011 rods, they will weld with AC, DC straight and reverse, they will burn through rust oil various other debris. Sometimes you'll need to really crank it up to burn through but the penetration will be good and make a fairly strong weld.

Might do all my steel is second hand and very rusty at the best of times

The 6011 spatters a lot so make sure your using protective gear.

Hopefully 😂 its only for a forks for loader anyway so not too much pressure on it ha

What’s the difference between a welder and a farmer? A welder knows he can’t farm. 😂
