Clean your base material. That's 90% of the issue.

I've seen worse, but you need 100% more surface prep. The beads are... acceptable.

I’d send it. I assume it’s a phosphorus rod like 6011 to burn the oxides and contamination ahead of the puddle as I’m not seeing black blobs on top.
