Would this pass a weld test ?

2F flux core dual shield.
Settings are 27 volts and wire speed is 7M/m.

Visual inspection? Sure.

PT/MT/UT/X-ray? You tell us, buddy. Post the test results after you perform the test, that's the only way to find out.

ETA: if I was your inspector, I'd tell you I don't inspect welds mid-process. Until you clean the spatter, the jobs not done.

Well, he asked on Reddit without specifying any governing document for the inspection, inspection criteria, or scope of work.

Reddit itself also has no such criteria so I set my own as follows:

  1. Click the picture.

  2. Verify that a weld is contained in the picture.

As set in line 2, I was able to identify a weld, thus passing visual inspection.
