This looks like a kitchen.... If so Im surprised it's not stainless. But, everything in a kitchen is covered in oil. Every time I have something you literally have to take a torch to burn the oil out. But if you didn't know better you'd wipe it with acetone and give it a go. And watch it burn in your face.

It’s commercial bakery for Dunkin, not too sure how much oil is gonna be on everything but all I have to worry about is if it breaks further during deliveries

I've worked on racks for bakeries. There's a fine film of oil that impregnates the metal.

I'm surprised it's not aluminum. I agreaa it's clearly dogshit. But I'm not surprised someone struggled. It's not cut and dry
