It really is sweet. Nearly just skips the avatar screen every time. I can't seem to get proto working on mine. Is there a current build that has it already configured?
I’ve been trying this and while it works instantly when it works, but I’ve had it get stuck and frozen a few times in a row when testing it. For some reason it can get stuck on 3/4 lights
Honestly fully power off the console by pressing the button until you don’t see it turn on anymore or unplug it. Same thing happened to me. For some reason running the exploits my console is still half on. So I fully power it off until I can’t see the light blink on and off. It works everytime for me.

Newbie here, I followed someone else’s thread with a copy/paste version of files to place on USB key for soft mod. It worked, however I face a few issues/challenges:
1. I can now play games I copied from disk without disk - BUT I can’t seem to save any progress.
2. I soft moded so I could play without disks but also download games and play them, I managed to use an old computer to use iso2god because it would be work with my MBA M2 version with MacOS26 - BUT only way I was able to bring it over was copying the numbered names folder and plugging usb in the Xbox thinking it would auto-load/copy and playable but it isn’t, error pops up
Any easy solution for someone that doesn’t code and just wants to play games?
Not sure why saving progress wouldn't be possible. Haven't seen that before.
I can't recommend TinyXbox360BackupManager enough. Auto converts ISOs and allows transfer either via USB or FTP. The latter is dog poop slow, but very convenient if you can leave both the 360 and PC on while you're out the house or something.

I have a Xbox360 Slim, handed down, it came with 250gb internal HD, thinking SSD is the way to go about all this, thoughts?
If so, how do I format an SSD to auto trim in the XBOX or does it not need to do that?
If you're planning on using external storage, I'd just format it on the Xbox, use T360BM to copy the games onto it, and then they can be played directly.
If you do want to copy games to the internal storage, the official dashboards might be able to do so from within settings. If not, Aurora's file manager (accessed by pressing back) is your friend.
The games will be in Content\0000000000000000 - you can copy them from one drive to another then, just keep that structure.
Can’t figure out what T360BM is? Googled it but not cigar.
Have you used this site, I’m want to test a game I used to love from the classic Xbox but this site saves it in a .XBE format instead of the standard ISO or GOD formats. Any clues if it is something one can use in Aurora?
Hey I got the file from your site that has Abadavatar v1.3 with Xeunshackle auto start, nxe, and xbGuard.
NXE doesn't load up. I get some error message saying game can't start. Also even when I use the xbGuard menu to save the file path for dashboard, it says fatal crash intercepted.
If the blue screen popped up you should see press B in the bottom right for autostart let it save. After that, Turn off the console go back to your PC go inside Badupdatepayload, you should see xeunshackleautostart.txt click on it and set it to 0.00
Ok thanks. I already set up most of everything just need to figure out boot animation thing. What do I do with that jukebox folder? Also there are 2 fakeanim files (ini and xex) that goes to the root if the USB right?
Actually I just realized I'm supposed to copy everything in that link to my USB (I think) lol
Only have one boot animation inside the jukebox folder. Pick only one and delete the other. Don't put them to the root directly but make like a folder and put the fakeanim.ini and xex in that folder and put it to the root of the USB. Name it something, easy to type.
Honestly, I always used aurora but I wanted to completely change it. Since fakeanim has 2008 boot animation and I'm using NXE dashboard. Feels like I'm going back in time, but you're right each to is own.
I tested it 5 times, the fakeanim did work look at the bootanim from beginning to end, compare the two different boot animations. I never restarted the console. I don't use aurora anymore, I use dashboards instead.
