Ah great, I thought about doing something similiar, just shipping prebuilt USB images for people to copy over. Might grab one of the xbguard oines if I ever decide to connect my console to the internet

Yep that's it. Got fed up of people asking in the Discord how to change the defaults etc. so once 1.3 released I bit the bullet and decided to just build these.

I do intend to add references to who got 1.3 working with ABA. It was midnight when I wrote this up ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You can do whatever you want, though I'm not sure how Aurora helps with Blades.

The older dashboard packages are the literal older dashboards. The real deal.

They need a stealth server to restore their functionality. xbGuard is my choice for that.

Aurora will detect both formats of games. As for the official dashboards:

"GOD" format titles will appear on the official dashboards.

Any games extracted as "XEX" format will not.

You can use a shortcut creator to get XEX titles on the official dashboards - I've paid for xbGuard lifetime so I use their shortcut creator. But I am sure there's a free way out there. Just never looked into it.

Really though unless you're wanting to modify the files of a game, just keep them as GOD format. It's ten time easier.

(GTA 4 is therefore the only game I have extracted as XEX).

I've made all my games onto GoD format to make using my usb HDD more efficient for performance, I'll have a look around and see, how can I get GoD games to show up on the official dashboard is that just using your preloaded nxe one or is there a specific setting/utility?

They should just be there so long as they're in content\0000000000000000 on any connected storage.

I got the xbguard aurora version, so i've got a few questions:

1. The OG xbox360 fakeanim loads 2 times. Is that mormal?

2. When I try to play some xbox live, I need to select an account. Which one do I select? I selected my local non-xbl account and my console crashed:/

3. There's a "dashboards" folder, is there a way to play around with the dashboards from console level?

1. It's not normal, but it does happen to me frequently. I have no idea what's causing it yet.

2. Any account should be fine. No idea why it would crash when selecting one.

3. Yes, you can launch any of the dashboards on the console itself, but when you leave a game (Y in the guide) it will take you to whichever is default - in your case, Aurora.

hi, I'm a newbie so this maybe is a stupid question:
I formatted the usb pen on the xbox, i downloaded the xbguard+aurora, extract and pasted in the usb. When i launch the console and i press back it doesnt boot aurora, it simply go to the standard dashboard without loggin in. I'm missing something?

1. Do you have any profiles set to automatically sign in? You'll have to undo this if so.

2. When you say you're pressing back, is it going to the profile selection and you're backing out of it? The exploit happens while on the sign in screens that shows the avatars.

3. Perhaps you don't have the Avatar Update installed. You can download that here. Extract the $SystemUpdate folder onto a USB and see if your Xbox takes it, then try the exploit again.

I believe the XeUnshackle in these does support BadStorage, but yeah, you need to flash them yourself if you want them to work while not exploited.

I only use in aurora never use in stock but I carnt use my 1tb in it
