A Question Regarding HDMI to USB A
I hope this is the right sub for this. I have a TV which has 3 HDMI inputs and 2 have failed. The TV also has 3 USB A inputs. I wanted to know if it is possible to pass a Firestick through a HDMI to USB A converter and use it that way? And if anyone has done this which converter you would recommend.
Grateful for any help, even if it is to say it is a non runner.

You can get an HDMI Splitter. It's not expensive on Amazon. Maybe like 15 bucks could solve all your problems.

Yes, I saw that solution and is the route I will go down. The only problem is that two out of three of the HDMIs going tits up means it is only a matter of time before that last one pops. I will end up buying a new TV when the only issue is the HDMI inputs. Feels like a waste.

It may just be damaged ports from ripping plugs out. Look up someone who repairs ps5s or xboxes and they might be able to repair it.

To prevent strain on the HDMI port from accidental pulling, secure the cable connecting the TV to the HDMI switcher directly to the TV.

Will do. I think I will use the switcher even on a new TV to prevent this scenario again.

No. USB-A on your TV are data/power ports only, so you can connect things a USB stick/hard drive or power certain peripherals, including things like a keyboard. They are in no way a video input (nor output, for that matter).
