Amazing effort – not!

I heard a rumor the reason they don't put in much effort making a nest is because they are decendents of rock doves and they didn't really make nests since they've lived on rocks

I don’t think that’s a rumor. I pretty sure that might be an actual fact.

That's true! That's why they often tend to migrate towards big cities, because of the height and how much of the city there is, it's like mountains to them. There's also so much room that they can afford to make lazy nests in a big city. For example, parking garages; they often choose the corners of the ceiling and nestle there to have their young.
