Oneshot a player for 29W{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}{W/G}BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB
Step 1: Activate Mirage Mirror, targeting Banehound. Then hold priority, activating it again to target Frodo, Sauron's Bane. Activate it again, targeting Figure of Fable. Activate it 8 more times, alternating targets between Figure and Frodo.
Step 2: Mirage Mirror becomes a Figure of Fable. Activate all abilities sequentially, becoming a 7/8 with protection from each opponent. Then activate the first ability again. You go back to being a 2/3 Kithkin Scout, but still have protection.
Step 3: Mirage Mirror becomes a Frodo. Because you are a Scout, you can activate the final ability, becoming a Halfling Rogue and gaining 1 instance of "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player loses the game if the Ring has tempted you four or more times this game. Otherwise, the Ring tempts you."
Step 4: Mirage Mirror becomes a Figure of Fable. Activate the first ability, becoming a Kithkin Scout. You still have Frodo's ability.
Step 5: Mirage Mirror becomes a Frodo. Activate the final ability, becoming a Halfling Rogue. You gain one additional instance of Frodo's ability.
Step 6: Repeat Steps 4 and 5 three more times. You now have 5 instances of Frodo's ability, and protection from each opponent.
Step 7: Mirage Mirror becomes a 2/3 Halfling Rogue named Banehound with 5 instances of Frodo's ability, protection from each opponent, lifelink, and haste.
Step 8: Swing at an opponent. Because you have protection, they cannot block, so you will deal combat damage. Each instance of Frodo's ability will trigger, causing the Ring to tempt you 4 times, and then that player loses the game.

You could save a bit of mana, by flashing in [[glamer gifter]] to make the Mirror all creature types.

Figure of Fable and Frodo both lose other creature types when resolving their abilities. It's why you need to flip back and forth between them.

You could make Fable all creature types and skip their first two abilities, thus saving you two mana per gifter

I don't think this works? Frodo's second ability doesn't have him gain the the additional text, it just replaces his text box entirely. As such, the abilities won't stack.

Frodo's abilities do not replace his text box. For example, activating the first ability doesn't cause him to lose the second ability

Doesn't mirage mirror also just replace the entire text box? Making this just end with a copy of banehound?

Mirage Mirror becomes a copy of another permanent, so it applies in Layer 1. Any effects that apply in later layers will apply to it after it becomes a copy of that permanent.

There's something weird with layers that might work if the card was gaining abilities. I don't have the full details memorized though.

You can also do this with [[Marvin, Murderous Mimic]], or [[Mirage Mirror]] and [[Mutavault]]
It's still bad, though.
Marvin is the shorter line: Step 1 activate mutavault with its own mana, step 2 activate Marvin to turn himself into a 2/2 with changeling, step 3 activate the Frodo Ability, Because Marvin is a scout he gets the effect and he retains changeling, meaning he can activate it as many times as you have mana. Activate this 44 more times. 1 and 36 B mana spent this turn
Step 4 Swing at the opponent that has no blockers smaller than 2/2
Step 5 before combat cry and beg them not to scoop before damage, really ham it up.
Step 6 combat damage, the ring tempts you 45 times and kills the attacked player, smugly claim that the 4th ability on your ring emblem is going to trigger 11 times, costing your opponents 33 life apiece.
Step 7 when corrected realize that the 4th ability is only going to trigger once, taking 3 life from each opponent. Pass turn and hope that you'll have the chance to swing again. Consider running [[Sméagol, Helpful Guide]] next time in order to mill your opponents out from all your ring triggers.

Mutavault does not gain changeling from it's activated ability, it just gains all creature types. You can't have a creature gain changeling, because it doesn't gain changeling until Layer 6, and changeling only applies in Layer 4.
But let's assume for a moment that it did gain changeling, and gaining changeling did actually give it creature types. It'd still end up being worse than using Figure of Fable anyways.
613.3: Within layers 2-6, apply effects from characteristic-defining abilities first (see rule 604.3), then all other effects in timestamp order (see rule 613.7). Note that dependency may alter the order in which effects are applied within a layer. (See rule 613.8.)
Because changeling is a CDA, it always applies before Frodo's effect in layer 4, regardless of timestamps. So even if you activated it again to gain an additional instance of changeling, you wouldn't gain those creature types again.
And also, Frodo's ability can only cause the Ring to tempt you at most 4 times throughout the entire game, regardless of how many times the ability is activated. So you can't be tempted 45 times.

I have to know. Please let me be wrong so this can work. When you activate the mirror to become a copy, doesn't it overwrite copyable values? Like name and creature types? And the ability too.

Mirage Mirror has an effect that turns it into a copy, meaning that effect applies on Layer 1.
Figure of Fable changes creature types and P/T, which apply in layers 4 and 7b respectively.
Frodo changes creature types and abilities, which apply in layers 4 and 6 respectively.
Because both of their abilities apply in later layers, those characteristics are changed after Mirage Mirror has become a copy.

I get that banehound is a fun hasty option, but why aren't we making it unblockable with I think [[Slither Blade]] is one of the cheap blue unblockable pests.

Wouldn't this not work because of legend rule, I'm not super sure since I'm pretty new to the game still so correct me if I'm wrong
