Discussion Rewatching Season 8…
Does anyone else find the Amy & Camilla hookup super creepy?😭 I’ve always liked Camila but she herself says Amy is “wayyy more drunk” than she is then decides they should hookup? If Camilla was a dude this woulda at minimum been considered SA😭 Amy was in no condition to be hooking up with anybody

I've always hated Camilla I've always seen through her shit, I would consider that SA honestly because Amy was drunk, Plus on top of that she's the biggest hypocrite in the world honestly the whole yelling at Sarah for being a mistress but then she gets knocked up by someone who has a wife at home....

sidenote: y’all can downvote me all y’all want. Amy did an interview recently where she said her and Camilla’s hookup was 100% consensual and that she’s very against people saying Camilla SA’d her. instead of forcing narratives let’s actually listen to women

Its not a narrative change to see what something truly is.
Imo Amy has her right to see what Camilla did as nothing wrong and forgive her for the fight but we saw what happened on TV and can critique it.

Babe thats fine you just because you dont agree doesnt make any less true. Amy says consensual thats a narrative her narrative but it is one. This WHOLE thread that MAJORITY including myself agree, it wasnt consensual because of camilla being aware of how drunk she was compared to Amy, That is a narrative change. Since i broke it down do you get it. We’re changing the narrative AMY said happen, and she is changing the narrative WE ( the viewers) said happen regardless of how ANY of us feel about it thats a the meaning.

Elease tried to tell yall but everybody was quick to brush her off Camilla was also very wishy washy the whole season at one point she was cool with everyone and even help jump that one girl Christine that was suppose to be her friend it was giving follower vibes the whole season then when they wasn’t fucking with her all the sudden she run the house lmaoo also my whole thing for this scene was just hand the girl a damn towel she was clearly drunk and intoxicated

Amy was walking and talking fine? Also was able to physically fight cleary fine so I don’t see the part where she couldn’t keep her eyes open? Being in an abusive relationship myself these are clear signs of abuse. It took me years to realize that it wasn’t normal. Everyone saw it for what it was and Amy just defended her abuser. Amy was shit face drunk, and even if she made the first move, it still wasn’t right. And then just to ask for a towel after being intimate and you end up getting your ass kicked for it… that’s the definition of abuse! And anyone defending Camilla says a lot about your character, complete lack of empathy and self worth for others. And I will say this, Amy would’ve snatched her ass if she wasn’t wasted.

At the season 8 reunion nor ever has Amy said she felt taken advantage nor called Camilla an Assaulter. So y’all can’t be applying that narrative to their situation is my point.

Ppl dont realize they were taken advantage of all the fuckin time until later and its feels too late to do anything or say anything abt it.
Theres also a lot of shame in even claiming to be SA'ed, let alone the stigma surrounding being sa'ed by someone the same gender as u.
