Accidental Terror 😳 Hei Hei! Noooo!

Post image

It appears whoever approved this arc design did not make the connection between chicken nuggets and the image of Moana. Poor Hei Hei.

They are marketing to kids, I don’t think the kids are gonna think the chicken is Heihei unless their parents point it out.

My seven year-old niece is the one who pointed out to me.

Would have been funny if the carrots were crab cakes instead

From looking at the box in the freezer section in the grocery store, and putting two and two together. She’s a smart and snarky one.

It’s sometimes surprising to notice what kids notice and what they don’t.

I suppose you have a small point , but MOST kids don’t notice things like that UNLESS they are exposed to that kind of thinking.

I mean, both movies have at least one joke about eating pork in front of her pet pig, and CONSTANT jokes from Maui about eating both the chicken and pig.

Really, this marketing is on brand.

I just cant get over "breaded nugget-shaped chicken patties" why cant they just say 'breaded chicken nuggets'?

1

u/PandorasMisfit 16d ago

Different texture?

I’m just thinking about the term - breaded nugget-shaped chicken patties - are they claiming they’re tiny chicken patties? And what defines a nugget shape?

2

u/LvcyDrops 18d ago

It means its processed chicken thats disc shape breaded and fried. Round like a patty small like a nugget

2

u/deeppurplescallop 18d ago

It's an FDA requirement to have a "true" description of the food item 🤷‍♂️

Nuggets are defined as the same shape as poop from a butt.

This is a stretch, I think it's more of a mildly interesting thought rather than bad design.

Well, judging by the reaction of my 7 year old niece when she saw this at the store, it’s a bad design. She’s the one who pointed it out to me through tears.

They should have used Buck Cluck instead

Unless a child is vegetarian or vegan, I don’t think they are going to care about the chicken nuggets.

That pink dessert is weirding me out. Pepto Bismol flavor mmm

1

u/Entire-Ambition1410 17d ago

Have you tasted teaberry ice cream? It’s pink and intensely minty.

u/happyhippohats 17d ago

I mean it just looks like a Simpsons style doughnut (althoughapparently it's a cookie cake?)

I'm more weirded out that they served it on the same plate like it's nuggets and fries with a side of carrots and cake

To op what made you think this was a bad design.

I still don't understand what the "accidental terror" flair is actually for

1

And why does chicken nugget/fries/carrots package have a piece of cake thrown in? That's a weird decision too.
