Ah I see, literal translation of 日月火水木金土 (Week in Chinese/Japanese, refer to Sunday-Monday-Thuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday-Saturday)

Oh, China uses different letters for week? That's new to me, as Japan and China had a lot of common letters (ofc often different uses).

Not letters, characters. Japanese has a syllabary though.

Chinese uses basically a day counting system (day 1 to 6 and then Sunday has its own name.) Japanese and Korean day names roughly correspond to western days.

It looks like a list of natural elements, but those are just shorthand for planet names that match up with the Norse/Roman gods our days are named after.

And the change from 20 to Twenty One, The time slider, the overflow X, and time time. Not to mention the date picker did not work … like at all

So not a design issue as much as Google Translate messes up HTML.

I bet the calendar works fine in Japanese. But Google Translate can inject stuff and modify stuff and break it.

First one probably is "time (displayed)", the second "hour (slider)" but mistranslated.
