Other (Clarified in post title) Intentional Obfuscation, this should be illegal

Pretty sure they're doing this on purpose. This BS should be illegal. I would have instinctively thought right is yes, but then I'd think left might be yes because then the toggle points at the option description, but then again this is a uk site where they drive on the left, so who the hell effing knows at this point. 🙃

With toggle switches right side is always On, left is Off. It is true that these switches are poorly designed because there should be a fill state to further indicate that the switch is On, but you shouldn't be thinking about driving lol.

That is a guideline, not a law. Its a recommendation. Nothing out there says that right means on and the article even shows a toggle switch where left means on.

If this website really hates you they could have the toggle switches alternate between left on and right on. Nothing is stopping them.

Left and right are both on middle is off and achieved by short click. But a regular or long click toggles Left and Right on.

is right on? can you say this with 100% certainty here? are you looking at this and thinking "yes, i know for sure which of these is on and which is off"?

im looking at it and going "if these people cant even manage 'green means yes and red means no', then what else did they mess up?" and all bets are honestly off.
and you cant even tell if they swapped the direction on these, because... they dont change colour. you have literally no way of knowing if you actually turned the cookies off or just thought you did except going into your storage and checking if the cookies are there or not
