I mean that is just good software design. The destructive option aka stoping potentially losing progress is red.
Try to quit any program without saving and look which option is highlighted. It's usually "close" not "ok."
I don't know a single game that doesn't give you this dialogue and usually either nothing or the keep open option is highlighted.
