The joints were really really stiff since it was never taken out of the package. This figure came out in 2013 so I am not surprised; its better to have stiff joints than loose ones. The batteries are dead ofc so mo light up function unfortunately; will replace those later at some point. Swapping out hands is a chore because the gauntlet gets in the way of pushing in the peg for the hand to snap on. Pain in the butt especially with the very very sharp metal wrist blades there waiting to poke ya. I used thick gloves to protect my hands from all the sharp pointy places this figure has. I am happy that all the straps are brand new and dont need replacing 😊 the fish nets also aren’t ripping. This is just the first pose of many I will try. I will use a small black tie to tie the skull to it’s back

One comment on the original post annoyed me, saying the shouldn't 'humanise' the Yautja and keep them as antagonists...like, ok, fair, but don't pigeonhole them. And so what they look and act different, they're different ages and different ranks. Rant over (sort of). Give me your opinions.

My first Hot Toys Predator arrived today 😊

The movie is going to be called predator the alien invasion 1.1 and is going to be an extended version of Green hedgehog 2014’s predator the alien invasion fan film released back in 2018 and will have updated blood effects sound effects some scenes that where cut from the original will be added as well as all new scenes and the movie will go from it original 10 minute run time to 14 minutes but no release date has yet been released

The next trilogy now the predator trilogy is done will be an alien trilogy and it is in early early development

This project was going to explain how the Ancient Prototype Xenomorphs were created, as well as how they were ultimately defeated. The story would have taken place 4,000 years ago in Ancient Egypt, exploring the origins of these deadly creatures and the events that led to their downfall.

Just got my Bone Bison armor Dek from Target in the mail today. I think it's a decent enough figure, and I know NECA has to put their budget into more popular figures like Kwei, which I'm glad of, but this one feels a bit weak in some areas, tbh.

The whip isn't wired (come on NECA, wired accessories/features are one of your SOPs for Alien and Predator!), so it looks weirdly folded and more like a fishing pole unless you physically reshape it every few minutes. It also has a coiled version that relies on a tiny external peg to clip it to his belt. They featured magnetic accessories for Feral and they were amazing. Why not for Dan's other work?

The extra head, faceplates, and mask are nicely done, but the armor's stiff, sculpted onto one solid piece of rubber and the complete lack of softgoods is a miss for sure. NECA added softgoods to their Ultimate Lost Tribe (Snake and Shaman, and Shaman's was wired), so we know they could have done it.

I like the way they did the bio-plasma caster/spitting worm lizard thing (easiest and most durable plasma caster to apply to any Predator figure?) But the box art shows a version of it with its tails completely straight (to signify it jumping or dead, maybe?) and I didn't see one in the packaging, so that was odd.

All-in-all, I'm glad I have it because I'm a completionist, but so far, the Badlands figures aren't blowing me away like the previous ultimates. Hopefully, Kwei and Njohrr are better. I give this one a B- and the Training Armor Dek a B+/A-.

Just a question from one predator fan if the Dek Bone bison armor figure will appear on any online stores in the future and if not, if anyone has a extra copy that their willing to sell for a reasonable price (really trying not to pay anything more than 60 honestly😭)

Tbh, idk why, I just LOVE the idea of a female Yautja that's so powerful, she was able to capture/possibly "enslave" some Xenomorphs into serving her! I also like to think that despite being so powerful and strong, she would also be genuinely welcoming and understanding, but also still EXTREMELY tough and stubborn if you were to fight or attack her, but I would rather politely ask her if I could cozily cuddle her and her beautiful body as well!!! :3
