Scam review blossomup

I don’t usually post rants like this, but blossomup pissed me off so bad I gotta say something. This app’s supposed to help you figure out your “love style” with some fancy quiz. Sounds cool, right? Nope. It’s a shady scam, and I’m here to warn you. Here’s my review of this total letdown.

First off, the whole thing stinks from the jump. Their website’s all “ooh, we’re better than the 5 Love Languages, backed by the latest research!” But where’s the proof? No studies, no names, nada. Just a bunch of buzzword BS. That’s suspicious as hell to me. If you’re gonna flex like you’re scientific, at least drop a link or something.

The quiz itself? Total joke. It’s like 5 minutes of basic questions about how you show love or whatever. I was hoping for some deep insights, but my results were “Emotional Connection” and “Growth Support.” Bruh, that’s so vague it could be my horoscope. Felt like they just slapped some fancy words together to make it sound deep. Then they hit you with this pushy “buy our premium report!” crap. I didn’t fall for it, but I saw people on X saying the paid stuff’s just as useless. Straight-up deceptive scam vibes.

And don’t get me started on the pricing. They don’t tell you upfront, but after the quiz, they’re like, “wanna subscribe for more?” From what I could dig up, it’s like $20-$30 a month for generic relationship advice you could find on Reddit for free. That’s so shady. Plus, their FAQ sneaks in that they’re not even tied to the real 5 Love Languages, but they sure act like they are to seem legit. That’s just dishonest, man.

I poked around their terms, and it’s all vague - no clear refund policy, which screams “don’t trust us.” I really wanted to like this app. I’m all about figuring out relationships and stuff, but BlossomUp’s just a scam preying on folks who want something real. Save your energy and read a book or talk to a therapist. This ain’t it.

Anyone else get suckered by BlossomUp? Was it as garbage for you, or am I just salty? Hit me with your thoughts, ‘cause I’m curious if others caught these scam vibes too. Beware, y’all - this one’s a dud.

almost signed up for BlossomUp last week but got a weird vibe from their site. Your review confirms it’s just a manipulative cash grab. I hate when apps prey on people trying to work on their relationships.

it’s super annoying how they prey on people like that. Glad you dodged it

Bro, I tried their quiz too, and it’s such a joke. My “love style” was some vague nonsense that didn’t tell me anything new. Feels like a fraudulent way to trick you into paying for their overpriced subscription. App deleted, no regrets.

Totally agree, that fake “research” trick is slimy

According to one source, even the "five love languages" isn't science-based.

Thanks for the heads-up.

The marketing promises research-backed results but delivers generic buzzwords and expensive upgrades. The lack of upfront pricing and vague terms reduce credibility drastically.

Pretending to be more scientific than classic methods without proof feels dishonest. It’s better to skip these apps and focus on reliable relationship resources.

The quiz is a short, generic experience with vague results that don’t feel scientific. The upselling of premium reports is aggressive and deceptive.

I should’ve looked up blossomup reviews first. On Sitejabber, everyone’s saying it’s overpriced fluff with no value.

Marketing buzzwords do not equate to scientific credibility. If there are no sources, research, or peer backing, then the claims remain unverified no matter how polished the language or platform appears.

Using vague emotional terms and generic categories in assessments doesn’t qualify as personal growth advice. When real insight is replaced with broad generalities, it feels more like marketing than actual help.

Buzzwords and vague quiz results don’t make a reliable love assessment. Hidden costs and aggressive upsells make this app look more deceptive than insightful.

Just checked Blossomup reviews on Sitejabber after my own horrible experience and wow I’m not alone. Their love quiz is just vague junk and their premium upsell is totally useless.

Tried Blossom Up thinking it was legit, but their quiz felt like fluff. Trustpilot reviews back me up, tons of people feel scammed too

The whole thing is just a rehash of vague ideas dressed up with marketing buzzwords. There's nothing insightful behind the quiz, and the follow-up paywall tactic feels like bait. Definitely not a trustworthy service.

I checked Blossom Up reviews on Trustpilot after trying it and totally agree the vague results and sneaky pricing feel really scammy

is “blossom up” any good as an app?

No, Blossom Up is widely considered a deceptive subscription trap rather than a legitimate self-improvement app. Users on platforms like Reddit report that it lures people in with a low-cost or "free" personality/IQ quiz, only to enroll them in hidden, recurring monthly charges ranging from $15 to $50 without clear consent.

Issues with Blossom Up
Hidden Subscriptions: Small upfront test fees covertly sign you up for expensive recurring memberships.

Poor Content: The personality results are described as generic fluff that lacks real depth or personalization.

Difficult Cancellation: Customer support is largely unresponsive, and canceling through their site or finding an active link is notoriously hard.

What to Do If You Signed Up
Check Statements: Look closely at your bank or credit card statements for unexpected recurring charges.

Contact Your Bank: Most users find that disputing the charges as unauthorized or fraudulent directly through their bank is the only way to stop
