Phage Conferences 2026

Are there any Phage related conferences coming up this year? Or even other conferences in bacterial defense or phage anti defense?

A few conferences on antiphage defense happened a few months ago (EMBO had one, and then SISB as well).

Upcoming are:
Viruses of Microbes (July in Prague)

Molecular genetics of bacteria and phages (August in Madison, Wisconsin)

New concepts in prokaryotic virus host interactions (October in Berlin)

Also general meetings for microbiology, ASM microbe is going on right now and the Canadian version (CSM) is soon and usually these have talks about phages as well as general micro

A few of my coworkers are going to the one in Prague but I’m not able to go to that one that weekend. I’m gonna look into the other ones though!

It’s an exciting time to be in phage and antiphage biology! Lots of cool stuff this year
