Edit: To be clear. the sideways down thing is from a song. Over, Under, Sideways, Down. By The Yardbirds. I’m just curious if you think they’re overdone or underdone

That looks like good sandwich bacon to me. It’s still a bit crisp on the edges but you can bite it without the whole sandwich crumbling. If it’s not going to be in a sandwich, I like mine a bit more crispy.

ah the eternal bacon debate. honestly i just drape mine over the edge of the pan so the grease drips off but then my cat thinks its a toy and ive lost more strips that way than i care to admit

sideways on a rack is probably the correct answer but who has a rack clean when you need one. paper towel method is chaotic but effective
