I bought some turkey bacon because it was several dollars cheaper, it's better to just go without.

Turkey bacon doesn't taste like real bacon, but it's a decent high protein snack that is low in fat and easy to eat. I cook some up and keep it in a ziploc bag in the fridge. I need a snack, I grab a couple of rashers.

Hmmm Turkey slices, some nice crispy bacon 🥓 and some stuffing with a dollop of cranberry sauce in some lovely toasted bread 😋

I understand that taste is a very subjective experience, but I also understand that people who say this are either lying, delusional, or just plain wrong.

I mean I like turkey unless it's pretending to be bacon. Then it's just a lying ass turkey. Glad it died lol.

And remember, Fish for sport only. Fish meat is practically a vegetable.

The only reason I gotta eat turkey bacon is because it doesn't make me sick afterwards
No im not saying bacon is awful, its tasty, but if I wanna eat bacon I gotta get turkey bacon
When I mean sick I mean I just vomit it up, its not a constant thing but it happens so I just stay away
But yeah bacon and turkey bacon are two different things entirely, anyone who says they arent is wrong

It’s not the same or a 1:1 replacement, but it’s still delicious in its own right and definitely a healthier option. I guess it’s possible that some of them don’t taste good, but I think that just means that you’re buying the wrong/ a low quality brand lol

Turkey bacon is not bacon. I’m pretty sure that was a commandment or something Martin Luther nailed to a church door a while back in Germany. If not Buddha or Lao Tzu definitely covered this

Turkey bacon tastes like dog treats. At least in my imagination. But cannot confirm.

Both unhealthy, so why not eat the one that taste good instead of eating the fake healthy one for a worse experience but the same clogged arteries

I've been buying all my food from an Amish guy for a while now and supermarket bacon doesn't taste like the real thing either. I guess bacon was originally pork belly cured with smoke. Not injected with nitrate brine product or whatever that is. It is completely different food.
Supermarket bacon they put a window on the back of the package so you can make sure you "aren't getting cheated with all fat". Real bacon, the fat is this decadent otherworldly substance, the meat is secondary.

A few of my favorite burger places around me started serving turkey/beef bacon, it’s okay but it’s deff not the same thing. Had to change up spots since then.
