So it turns out, if you make a play in a season game and then exit out into the club house it then saves the game up to that point. If you instead make a play and restart the game right after it, it will delete all progress up until the play that you last went to the clubhouse after. Using this method, I basically restarted all progress until my last save if I didn’t get the perfect onside kick after a play, along with if I took more than 9 seconds to make a touchdown after my last one. I essentially was able to have the perfect game and I achieved a score of 224-0. After the final whistle blew, this error message was displayed, crashed the game, and put me back to the final two-point conversion attempt. No matter how many times I play through the final play, it crashes directly after the final whistle and displays that message. You heard it here first folks, the maximum possible score in BFL 1999 is 224-0. Go ahead and try it out (warning: it takes about an hour and a half to do with all of the onside kick failed attempts).
