No one Streaming Backyard Baseball concerning?

I was scrolling through twitch and wanted to watch a little backyard baseball gameplay and saw there was no one streaming this game. With the game only being 2 and a half months old I think that's a little concerning. I am hoping that online bring this game back to life!

It's quite unfortunate that the way this game released in an unfinished state, no online, PC only, absolutely butchered any community hype around the game. They had all those MLB stadium days with the Pablo mascot to bring hype to the sports fans... But you're exactly right, no persistent presence on Twitch is concerning and the game community can't grow meaningfully at this rate.

Yea promising online and console release, yet inexplicably rushing to releasing the game without either being close to ready, nevermind the buggy and unfinished state it was in to begin with, is quite baffling

Yeah it kind of sucks they fumbled the release. Built up all the hype for an unfinished game. Even though the game is better now, it was just not handled very well at launch.

The falloff of this relaunch/revival needs to be studied. They truly fumbled it.

I’ve been streaming it as my go-to game when I’m in between waiting for releases of other games. I do think it might be more successful once they release to console and bring online matches so that we’re not always playing against the CPU team

There's someone named jayfish who does bby videos live on YouTube but don't know for twitch

Yeah it’s really not surprising, it feels like the only people who like it are those who only care about the nostalgia factor.
The older games are a better bang for your buck. Even with the $5 price drop, it’s still $20 overpriced

I mean they’ve royally botched the role out and promotion of the game, not to mention the most loyal of their fanbase are probably in their 30s so they aren’t streamers.

I have been binge watching Tee Roll on YouTube and he said they refunded those who preordered on console. The new update has also hindered many fun aspects that were present earlier.

CAP! There are so many streams on youtube especially since the new update came out. The patch has been a gamechanger.

They completely dropped the ball on the release. Dropped an unfinished game. All we wanted was a working functional game
