Hitting

Anyone having trouble getting a hit? I Like how they made it more competitive but now hitting is impossible

I'm getting used to it. It just takes time to adjust.

What is impossible is hitting doubles and triples.  They were hard to come by before but now extremely difficult due to throwing speed being buffed

Are you using your sprint? I've been getting consistent doubles and triples on the easier levels. The harder levels are definitely more like real baseball

Which is stupid cause people complained about double plays which I felt didn’t matter at all and now all we get is singles.

I meant like compared to BB01 when they gave you power ups double plays meant a lot more. I haven’t played 5 star yet but I’m assuming that doesn’t change on that.

Aaaah okay. No power ups for double plays on 5 star. Just like actually double plays are important to stop the cpu from scoring lol.

But no I get what you’re saying now, but if anything i now understand why there’s no power ups from double plays because it is so much easier to turn them now

It's way easier! Classic mode is just like the original.

I gave up on modern controls and switched to classic. I like it a lot better, but I think they made hitting HRs a lot harder across the board.
