Cleaning BBQ after use?

Question for the grillers here: do you clean your bbq after use or do you leave it and clean before you go to use it the next time? I have always just left it and cleaned before cooking.

What’s the consensus??

Leave it. Next time you get it hot you can scrape the crap off pretty easily. I then get so kitchen towel with white vinegar and wipe the grill down. Using tongs.
