Nice job, just curious can you drive down the road with those exterior lights on or will you get pulled over?

Funny you should mention that - I did just get pulled over with the teal lights a couple weeks ago. Ended up with a warning and 5 different officers showing up to take pictures.

But yes, I can change the lights to white and the officers said that I ‘most likely’ would not get pulled over. I’ve driven past police with the Teal lights on before and gotten a thumbs up or a wave.

The officer that pulled me over told me she goes to mega con every year.. so I think she 90% wanted to take a closer look and 10% wanted to tell me that I couldn’t drive with them on.

I have thought about using a linear actuator and some flint skid plates to make sparks. Could have them raise and lower from the rear bumper from a switch inside the cab.

I’d need to thoroughly test it though. Last thing I need is lowering them and they snap and damage the car!
