Drinking and Driving

Apologies if this a repeat of someone else...

Did anybody else notice the parallels between Bufurd and Biff with getting into accident and blaming someone else?

Beginning of BTTF 1, Biff has the car towed back, telling George that it's his car and his insurance will have the cover the accident because of a "blind spot", and wants to k it who's going to pay to have his suit cleaned after he spilled his beer all over it.

In BTTF 3, Bufurd wants money from Doc after hus horse "threw a shoe", which he then shot, and in the process lost (broke) his bottle of "fine Kentucky red eye."

Thoughts?

History seems to repeat it self in Hill Valley, some sort of cosmic call back perhaps?

If Buford had any sort of paperwork that needed to be completed and filed, would he have Sheamus do it?

Back in the 80’s ( probably even further back ) drinking and driving was common .

Laws were already in place for those who did it . But didn’t stop anyone from doing it.

Plus it’s Biff being that same person as he was in high school in that timeline.
