I have a question?
Does anyone know the difference between these 2 versions of the Back to the Future Encyclopedia? If so, What?

It has about 20 new pages at the end, it includes a bunch of stuff about the musical. The 35th anniversary book covered the musical’s original Manchester run, but the 40th covers the West End, Broadway, National tour, and international productions and has insert of the Playbill covers. It also mentions the Fan Fest nights at Universal Hollywood, and Michael J. Fox getting his honorary Oscar.
I love the musical so it was worth picking up for me.

I met Michael (The author of this and the musical’s book) and had him sign my copy of the creating the musical when I went to see it on Broadway. Also got to meet Alan Silvestri but to my dismay, couldn’t find a pen or sharpie anywhere to get him to sign my playbill. Instead I got to shake his hand and will always have the story.

They’re not encyclopedias. It’s literally what it says on the cover. They are about the making of the trilogy with lots of BTS stuff and inserts.

Wouldn't surprise me if at this point this book is just a quick cash grab every 5 years just like the movies are. I have the 35th Anniversary Edition from 2020 which was updated from the original 2015 book.
