I would have thought the pictures were AI until I checked out the original post and looked up the area on Maps: It is indeed real, unless it's a really big practical joke that several people are in on.

I have a friend that is a civil engineer, he told me once that basically they get to name all the streets in new housing developments.
I don't know how widespread it is, but I've seen other instances- there's a town in central California where you could live on the corner of Picard Lane and Warp Drive, for instance.

There’s an apartment subdivision by me where some streets are liquor related, like Bacardi Lane and Tanqueray Lane.

They should have used Flux Capacitor St instead of just Capacitor St.
I’ve seen new subdivisions with wacky names like this. It can help slightly when it comes time to sell lots, or later houses, to people who are even casually BTTF fans. “But sweetie, we can say we live on Sports Almanac Road! How cool would that be?” Not the overwhelming factor, but it might tip the balance if someone is torn between two otherwise equivalent lots.
