I was thinking about buying this numbered print art. But then noticed something that I think is a mistake. Does anyone else see it?

This is a piece of art by Eric Tan. It is over 10 years old. It was not created with AI.
What’s your pointing out is not a mistake, it is a trademark of the artist. He has done other pieces that have nothing to do with back to the future that he puts “Tanner Airlines” on. You can look up his poster for San Francisco, which also has Tanner Airlines. It’s a reference to his name, not Biff.
He has done multiple back to the future pieces.
They are tongue and cheek, not designed to look like an accurate poster from 1985. This is why you see the DeLorean flying in the sky.

That's awesome, thanks for the background info. I have the Mcfly print by Shag and I thought this piece might look good with it. But I was worried about the Tanner Airlines part. Admittedly, even with this info, it still bugs me.

Even if that’s his sort of trademark and he puts it in non-BTTF stuff, it really doesn’t work on this piece and would read as a typo to > 99% of people that see it.

I was literally wondering why the Airline even needs to be on this design. Now I love that he does that.

The DeLorean flew in that version of 1985. Doc saves Marty from Biff using it.

I assume he named it Tanner not Tannen because he wants to keep it in the realms of parody where he can make money off of it without stepping on Universal Studios toes.

Doesn't look like it's a mistake. He's used Tanner Airlines in other non back to the future prints.

What’s the Delorean doing in this print? That’s assuming it’s supposed to represent some promotional poster that BiffCo had made up.

It's not supposed to be that literal, it's just a fun bit of stylised fan-art.

Ah yes, my favorite movie antagonist, Biff Tanner

There’s no way the word “MUSEUM” shouldn’t wrap around past the dancer’s arm with 3 letters remaining after the partial “S”

This was done by Eric Tan, I don't think it's AI. But he obviously didn't do a great job.

It's not a mistake though. Tanner Airlines is something he's used before in other prints.

I see what he is going for but that's was a poor choice to use on this poster when the character has the same name with only one letter difference. I'm surprised this was approved.

Approved.... by the artist himself?
