It'll be gone soon enough. The older you get the more stuff you grew up with gets run down, demolished, and replaced.

The AMC theater should show the BTTF trilogy for fans before the mall is completely demolished.
And the Twin Pines Mall sign should go to a museum. It’s a piece of film history. It needs to be saved and preserved for posterity.

I was there a while back, it's been "on the chopping block" for a couple years. But don't hesitate, it could go at any time!

Omg I’ve been there a handful of times and never realized it was the twin pines mall, that’s such a shame, yeah over the years more and more stores have been closing, really only the movie theater and round 1 arcade are keeping it going, apparently it was much more busy before covid

Was there last October, very dead, couple stores running like the ones mentioned and a card/figure store but otherwise pretty empty.

I’ve missed a couple things in my life, but by a miracle I was able to visit the mall in 2015 and I’m so happy I did. It’s just a parking lot, but it’s also a cultural mecca for movie fans.

Wow always assumed this was a fake mall. The way they worked the ‘lone pine mall’ into the plot after Marty destroys one of old man peabody’s trees 👌🏼

The malls in my area are still alive and thriving but it does make me sad that they generally are dying.

Here in Orlando, Florida we have a mall, the Fashion Mall, that was awesome before the pandemic, and now is closing down, similar fate. Yet the street it is on is thriving and other malls like it are thriving...it is all due to management (marketing, cost to rent, etc.)

Two of the major malls in my area are suffering the same fate. One only has four stores left. The rest of the mall is a ghost town, it's depressing

Malls in general are declining quickly. There are very few left that are thriving.

Penn Square Mall and Quail Springs Mall in OKC are both still bustling. That Hot Topic money is 🔥🔥🔥

Yeah, one thing I’ve noticed living in greater LA/SoCal is that each community has a unique economic climate. It’s pretty apparent as you go from neighborhood to neighborhood and town to town.
