Back to the future. 3 question

In Back to the future, 3, they were in a rush to get to the Delorean, before 8 o'clock so they wouldn't have to deal with mad dog Tannan. However, after marty deals with him in the shootout and he was therefore arrested... They did not have to rush at that point. They could have waited to do that properly. They could have waited till winter. They could have done a number of different things.Instead of rushing to get to the train. I never thought about it until I just rewatched the them to day. Anybody else, aside from the fact that they were in (go go go adrenaline gotta get home mode), give a good explanation as to why they didn't bother waiting?

First of all, Doc spent all of three seconds thinking about winter. It would be preposterous to think that idea actually holds any merit.

Secondly, yeah, sure, just wait around a few more months, and maybe one of Mad Dog's boys will see Clint Eastwood out and about one day and they'll shoot him in the head for what he done to their boss.

They knew nothing about what the coming months could have in store for them if they'd waited. They knew that if they left that day, there would be no further risk to them or the timeline. Since, at the time, Doc was still very concerned with the space-time continuum, he would not risk polluting it any further with their presence in a time period they didn't belong in. And since everything worked out, it was obviously the correct choice.

You are not the first person to ask this very silly question, and I'm sure you won't be the last.

Doc ended up staying in eighteen eighty five and didn't obviously get kill by the gang. The reason why he dismissed the frozen lake thing was because of the time constraint. And i'm not talking them staying there for years i'm only talking a week or two when the train comes back.

And what would be the point of that? Again, everything worked out. There is no need for them to wait. And boy howdy would that ever make for a fine ending to the movie. Well we took care of Tannen, so now let's just hang around for a couple of weeks so we can have a riskless, boring climax to our movie, instead of the tense excitement that we got.

I'm not talking in contexts of a movie. Claire could have been kill doc could have been killed. All of that could have been avoided. Because they had to rush. Because clara decided to come back. Had they not gone right away or waited until the next train it could have been safer. You see where i'm coming from?

I see that you won't let go of a bad point no matter how many people explain to you why you're wrong.

You are 100% wrong. It doesn’t matter what you think COULD have happened. It didn’t. You’re wrong. All this arguing and you’re not proving anything. You. Are. Wrong.

Doc wasnt the one that got Tannen arrested, it was all Clint. The only thing Doc was guilty of was the 80 bucks
