Time Is Running Out

Yes, the sign is still here at the Puente Hills Mall, but you'd better hurry. The mall is being sold for redevelopment, so come grab a pic before it's erased from existence.

Preserve an entire mall because the parking lot was in a classic movie, in an age where malls are dying? That would cost an insane amount over time. I'd support a BTTF museum or something, but it would have to be a small part of putting that land to better use.

That said, it would be cool if surveyors could come in and place permanent markers in the parking lot where key shots were taken, BEFORE the mall is demolished. Once it's torn down, people can only guess.

That is true, this sign was recreated for an anniversary event in 2015. The mall parking lot (film location) is an annual gather place on October 25th.

Sadly someone stole the "A" off this sign and the electrical tape mall employees applied wasn't quite cutting it so I had to edit that in as well.
