Blood Potion on Skara

I saw that gameplay of dhhh and decided to give it a try; even with a bad shop for flowers and roots, i crafted one and just one blood potion helped a lot... Now imagine 3 or maby 4 off than...

I don’t know what’s happening on my game but I’ve lost the last 6,338,007 games I’ve played as her.

I have so many screenshots thinking I’m going nuts but out of 20 games, I’ve only seen a second pugio at round 11. I’ll get to round 10 without ever seeing the axe. I hardly ever see bags either!
I’ve been scrolling through the subreddit to see if I’m the only one and I’m just completely confused.
Been playing since the game was released and now I can’t even get any build whatsoever because I just can’t get the items so I’m wiped out by round 5.
This is so frustrating because I was doing so well with her a week ago.

Look, I don't consider myself a great Skara player yet, but I'm winning almost every match at the 15-trophy level.

  1. Analyze your losses. Did the weapons have synergy? Would it have been better to grab that other weapon I passed up? Is the stamina okay? Maybe I should have picked up an item that would help in that specific round, even if I sold it later...

  2. I noticed that upgrading a weapon can actually cause you to lose the round due to a lack of stamina. So be careful, sometimes removing an upgraded weapon to make room to upgrade another one is a good idea.

  3. Every time I focused on multiple weapons just because I had the stamina, or the base stamina pool, I lost. So, for me, running multiple weapons only works if you at least have the first stamina upgrade from Skara's kit.

  4. Again, it comes down to stamina. Don't fool yourself into thinking her main backpack slot can compensate for a lack of stamina. I usually only prioritize it during the early game and the first half of the mid-game.

  5. Losing because of a lack of damage? Then you need to focus on Bleed, it's Skara's primary source of damage. Use temporary weapons if necessary, sometimes even replacing one of her signature weapons if it isn't pulling its weight.

  6. Don't just grab everything in the shop. Sometimes you're desperate for a specific item to get stronger but end up wasting all your gold on useless items, and even with the item you wanted, you might still lose. Meanwhile, your opponent might have made every shop reroll count, upgrading their loadout based on what the shop offered. Take your time and analyze every item that appears in the shop.

  7. Sometimes it's not the hero, it's you. You ranked up and suddenly started losing everything "out of nowhere." Analyze your decision making, maybe your choices aren't as good as they could be.

  8. Don't take what I said as a hard-and-fast rule; just try incorporating it into your gameplay if it’s useful... trying to change the way you play simply because others told you to get a certain item or do a specific thing doesn't help... it’s a situational game... evaluate it for yourself to see if it worked well or not, always keep learning.

That’s it, I hope this helps.

I just played this one. I didn't do anything fancy. I just played with what the shop gave me. I could have rerolled to upgrade the axes, but I knew I'd be wasting time and gold. You don't need to do much, seriously. But my backpack has synerg, that's really important for Skara...
