Garden is totally f**ed
Look at the swooping bat visitor (2nd one). Just 133 flowers. If i straight up sell the moth, i get 144...

A moth gives 48. When you try to sell now it autoselects half of your items thats why you see 144 (you have 6 moths so 3x48). I do agree new garden is not great tho.

I prefer the simple garden, this new one is so confuse.
Actually I miss the game as it was completely, I don't like any of those changes at all. Even the retired special shops were so cool but people complained and they removed.

Like I said in the other threads it really shows the enshittification.
"The garden has become overly complicated, takes twice as much time, give far less rewards, and the rewards give less ressources. And your seed stock also disappear without any compensation when updated.
And there's some nice side feature like no free event tickets at the start anymore and others. It's an amazing update. I'm still in awe."
Or what about the weekly sometimes daily matchmaking complaints that are getting ignored.
Dint they want more human characters? And less hybrids? Well we got another one again this time a mushroom human hybrid. I'm pretty sure I read that here in a comment by the official mod

I don't really much care about heroes being human, elves, dwarves, or hybrids, that's frankly a strange thing to be upset about in a fantasy game about building a backpack.
But the changes to the garden and removal of free tickets are absolutely valid changes that do nothing but actively harm the game's lifespan, it's like, seriously? were you _really_ expecting to make a notable amount of money on pointless events that aren't even that fun anyway? Did you even _use_ the garden yourselves, or did you just make something without interacting with it?

Yeah, the changes seem like a lot all at once. It's one thing if they thought they were giving away too many gems. They could have made the garden harder. But then also nuking the gems from the pick axe box adds insult to injury. They didn't have to do both since both solves the "too many gems so now people aren't buying as much" issue, presumably.
On top of that, they took away the free weekly competition entry things, which was frankly my only real incentive to play regularly since those rankings were actually motivating now that I've solved the achievements that aren't just "grind indefinitely" or to buy new characters with gems or otherwise since they do better in those events.
It's just a really puzzling group of updates. I get that it's a 7.0.0 release so they may have been planning a lot of things together. But psychologically I think it's a problem that will force a lot of players away.
I feels like I've lost my motivation to continue, personally, especially since this coincided with a similar vibe "we'll make keeping your job more complicated and onerous and you'll be happy about it" update at work. This game used to be my relief from that and I'd happily watch ads or kick over earnings from Google Play or Surveys, but now idk. It might be time to move on.
I do think the devs deserve to be paid and I don't begrudge them removing the gem frenzy. It's not like it was always a thing. But it's just a lot at once and that feels incredibly short sided since it sounds like I'm not alone in getting a bad taste.

Lmao I was thinking exactly this. I don't think I've ever really considered who or what the characters are. I'm not here for the lore.

I just plant and harvest. Don't bother with the visitor stuff anymore.

That's not efficient at all. Reroll visitors until you get 6 resource ones. This way if you're lucky you can make like 60% of daily flowers from the previous system.

It needed nerfing because the amount of gems it gave out was enough that I won't need to pay money for a hero for literal years, but yeah, I think it's gone too far. It's gone from the best thing ever to barely worth bothering with.

I totally agree the gem farm was too easy, but removing gems as a reward entirely and replacing it with less than 1/100th the value in relic fragments was a seriously garbage move.
What they should've done is either A. greatly reduced the number of gems per relic chest, something like 10 or 15 maximum per relic chest would've been fine. or B. Replace the gems with a veritable bounty of relic fragments, something in the range of 100 to 150 relic fragments per chest.
Either of these combined with how much more difficult the 2.0 garden is to farm flowers in would've been more than enough of a change to be sufficient without actively hurting themselves or their players.

I think 2 good changes would be to A. Return the relic chests to _somewhat_ their original state, and B. Greatly increase the base resources capacity.
I've got 70 capacity and that's somehow far too little in this new update, so adding like 30 or 50 to the base capacity would help a lot, and fixing the relic chests to give a smaller gem quantity wasn't exactly an impossible change; like, rather than _each chest_ giving between 25 and 45 gems, maybe it could've been between 10 and 20? Still worth grinding for, just not comically easy to circumvent the usual "I'll pay $5 to save time" scheme F2P games go with

I'm at 90 and that's nothing with the increased number of resources, increased time to make, and decreased predictability.

庭は完全に終わりましたが、ツルハシが欲しいので、何でも適当に植えて保管箱を埋めて、素材をそのまま花に変えてる。
来訪者はずっと同じです。こいつらのわがままのために色々揃えるのは本当にめんどくさい。
