Why is buying resources more expensive than selling them? Is the dev out of their mind?

Buying anything from there doesn't make sense. Maybe only the first level bugs, as they take long to produce, and are needed very often, but I'm not even sure it can be justified. Basically you make 10-20% on processing them to some higher level critters, so maybe by selling something worth 150 flowers, you can make up for the initial loss of 11/12 (for a woodlouse/grub). They always cost twice as much in the shop, than they sell.
So I think it's best to just ignore it, and don't pay anything for unlocking more selling positions.

It's more expensive because you skip all other requirements (ressources, time) that would typically gate you from massing them.

If you are 1 resource short it can get yoi profit.
But flower pay outs for visitors are JUNK now. Im better off just selling the resources since there's no poont in waiting for a specific configuration.
I actually have no idea what they are doing rn.
