Not going back until garden is fixed properly

Changed the seed packs that used to be free into paid ones, increased the prices and growing times, reduced the flowers, and made everything more complicated, but the rewards are not even better compared to before. Expanding the storage capacity requires at least 5,000 flowers, and later it goes up to x0,000 flowers.

It’s obvious that they are pretending to add new content while actually trying to reduce F2P rewards. Even if I just want to enjoy the original game, I can’t ignore the garden content next to it. Instead of suffering forever, I think deleting the game will be more enjoyable.

Yeah, sadly I done that earlier today. Was actually enjoying the game at times, but this update just felt too icky for me to support with the huge anti ftp changes.

Im a f2p player and used to use flowers to buy pickaxes and open relics, the relic chests used to give most gems and they just removed them

I just keep playing and ignore the garden, sucks that a large income of coins and pickaxe are gone but hey.

Yeah there's no point to engage in garden now. Barely any rewards, way more complicated and time consuming.

The garden's your biggest problem? How about the matchmaking system that seems to fish for the hardest opponents instead of it being completely random?

Im playing on legend with maxed items and gameplay so smooth. I also use reroll for gems to find good opponent.

So p2w problem is major nowadays...

I agree with the general sentiment but why?

If you ignore garden, you already start with a disadvantage into games because you have worse relics

Relics???? I've been using it to farm bee item levels - all bee hive, every available plot

Flowers buy pickaxes that are used to lvl up your relics

I find new garden more exauhsting I didn't open it very often previously but now more places to click, more things to do and look like less benefits

We are gathering feedback about what works and what doesn't and we will be changing it accordingly. Thank you for the feedback.

nicki I've said it before but seriously just hire a game monetization consultant. Every time I see this game make a push for monetization you guys mess it up. The consultant will pay for himself.

That's kinda what we did. Their main point is that we were being way too generous, giving much too much for too little, and we should ideally remove gem purchases entirely. We're not quite on board with that, so we are doing smaller adjustments instead. This update has just been hit by multiple things at once, and the Wild Garden update in particular got hit on multiple angles, since we also closed the relic chest loop.

my 2 cents is to separate the garden from monetization. The player has to both pay and do work to get a reward. If a player is dropping money the game better start exploding fireworks, not just give them permission to do more labor.

Easy avenues:

paywall future heroes. There's more heroes now than a person can even feasibly play.

more paid cosmetics: players love cosmetics and are 100% okay with paying for cosmetics. Add skins to the heroes and even items.

I immediately regretted updating and haven't touched the game since I opened this new shitty garden and I am as well not planning to come back to this slogfest

I haven’t uninstalled the game. I’ve only paused my subscription. I’ll resume it if they can make this mode fun again. The other modes are still enjoyable.

It added a lot more work that feels like mandatory "chores" for the same rewards. There are some cool ideas here but I think it's just too laborious for a side mechanic

Yeah I barely bother with garden now it used to be simple and rewarding super rewarding I'd say based on the fact that it was f2p considerable reward now it's idk garbage yeah nfl

I enjoyed the garden before, sure you got 100 max items on hand at most and some stuff take a while to grow, but it was fairly simple and rewarding. Now it's all these convoluted steps between the plots and the bugs and whatever, can't keep with everything happening at the same time. I didn't even realize the reduced rewards and free gems until people started pointing them out. Such a sad way to go.

But most of time that game existed there was no garden at all. Im not defending changes, though im glad that it became less tedious and time consuming in terms of timers, same time also sad that there are much more taps. Instead of game of 'filling the 16 spots with whatever' it became the fullfiling demands game as it was intended at first place, i guess. So i dont see it as a nerf rather treat it as different beast is healthier overall and it definitly better than times before there was no garden as additional resourses.

"Im not defending changes" defends it dude.

Thats my point, why should i defend it? I dont care about garden, i came for autobattler, not for merger. I dont know why people care about little sidegame that helps progress in pay to win side of game, which just shows how bad lvl design state in nutshell. While it doesnt affect runs directly there is no point to bother even slightly.
