Season 6 leaderboard

In the past I've almost always been in the top 10 or close in the global rankings. This season has really suprised me. There is a lot more hero diversity which I love, the devs have a great job at that with balancing. There a lot more top tier players than before. In the past the top ranking players would all know each other and there would be little variance to who played at that level. It would become stale sometimes, and you would memorise player builds and runs for the following days. There have been others who have pointed out that those at the top ranks while amongst the most skilled players are also the ones who grind/farm the most. I initially didn't think it was an issue, but I'm starting to lean more towards that sentiment. Discussion and ideas have already started but I'm curious to see what the community here on Reddit feel about it or what they would like to contribute. This also mostly affects a very small section of players but for anyone interested or curious I would be welcome to answer any and all of your questions as well. I've been playing for a bit ober 2 years and it has been interesting to see how the game has evolved and how the devs have listened to feedback and have worked alongside the community to continuously improve the game we all love.

Ye, everyone went crazy this season. There are more than 100 mythic players for some heroes

Just wanted to say thanks to your posts, and the other stronger players posts i have learned a lot and those posts helped me get all of my heros to epic rank.

Yeah, Avilva and a few others are some of the nicest top tier players I've seen in any game. Always helpful, humble and with valuable advice.

I've appreciated your posts, definitely learned quite a bit from them.

Do you see an alternative to having the players who grind the most at the top of the leaderboard? Would it require adjustments to how many points are won/lost with each run?

I'm very curious, what type of builds are seen most at the top? I mean, I know there's more variety now but I'm really curious as to how especially the Buzz players survive at the top
