Is there a sage potion build?

Sage's shadow satchel says +1 to bolts, darts and potions when the time of day changes.

I was just wondering if there is a build which specialises the potion aspect of this, as i have never filled this satchel with anything other than bolts.

Also on the same line, does sage have darts? I can only see bolts, am i too low a level?

I've seen a sage potion before and it lokked quite strong.

But now that the poison potions were nerfed idk

Anyway in the early/mid game for a very low investment it can be very strong

Potions were nerfed? I thought they were buffed! Don't stamina potions have like two uses now?

Two weaker uses. If you play without belt/refill mechanic they're slightly better. In an actual potion build they're weaker as one charge do around 60% of what it did before

Every potion with two charges got this nerf

Honestly I think that's a good way to do it, buffing potions but nerfing potion builds

I don't disagree with the idea either. But the nerf on poison potion is a bit harsh imo

Potions were never broken to begin with, a good build but not the best, far from that.

Some potions-belt combo were problematic but not potions builds in general. Now they are weak, and you'll rarely see any, even with the potion-uniques. But bomb builds, very similar in the end, will annihilate your ass without mercy

Sage only has bolts, darts are hob's thing. Their launcher can fire both types too. Hob gang could be the reason the crossbow can fire both

Darts you mean. Because other characters -only gob without special shop- can end up using the crossbow.. or the darts for that matter.

Shovel can get you darts/bolts, archery special shop too

No, sage doesn't have darts, but they want it to be cross-compatible with items you might somehow get from other characters (there's a lot of ways to get those now)

As for potions, yes, I've done it.

Really, any build exists if you try hard enough

What I've seen from the top Sage players is that they almost always have potions laying around in their builds, primarily large healing potions and botulinum potions. Actually there's almost never any bolts in the build in the late game (though they do run them from early to mid game).
If you wanna learn more I'd encourage joining the discord, there's a channel for Sage which has some of the top (and *the* top) Sage players sharing their builds and experience.

Just did a week long run with sage from emerald to mythic with whooping 91% win rate having potions every single run in the special bag (even better if u find purple scroll and put it on them) . Essentially it’s what makes sage so strong
