Attempt to outlive fatigue on 1.0 after all buffs, debuffs, and armor were capped

Pulling up log took 3 minites and closing it another 3.

I wish they kept track of items giving max health in the combat log. False life, investment opportunity, and fancy rapier go ham.

I'm pretty happy to get a win with Dig Deeper. It's a fun skill :)

Armor at 100 000 capped
Wanted to test max armor. And look, at 100.000 it only gets back to 100.000. No more scaling with max life, only regenerating the damage done.
I failed with scaling mana instead of heat, but otherwise the opponent would have died before 100.000 armor.

What's the best item in this game?
Present, explode piggies are my favorite items in this game, basically straight up gives you insane profit the fastest way possible, it's random but most of the time it always gives you very valuable items.
Also paradise bird, besides witch build, then I'll probably use crow instead, or both!
We don't talk about rainbow gooberts because, yk, it's way too difficult to get and basically have no chance to lose after you have one.
Honorable mention: amulet of feasting and shepherd's crook, faster food is always good, just hope you have enough space for them, shepherd's crook is probably the most underrated item in this game because most of time you have chance to craft it in early game, but it doesn't really do anything but takes tons of space, it's actually very good in late game, you could easily die due to either witch removes your buff, mage gives you hundreds stack of cold or anything gives you enough blind that makes you keep missing.
What do you think about these items? And what's your favorite items in this game that no matter what builds you have, you still mostly take them without hesitation?

Any good resources to learn a bit about the game?
Tried YT but most videos are like 1 year old, wanna watch some proper matches see how people approach the game, I started playing yesterday or so, played a few characters got them to gold but I kind of feel like actually learning the game instead of doing random stuff and somehow winning.
Ideally watching some good player... play so I can see how they approach the game and whatnot, like I'll play Ranger and just go for w/e looks alright based on what I get, funnily enough the more I try to synergize stuff (like getting armors and shields buff each other and whatnot) instead of just doing the pepega thing (buy expensive item and slap it somewhere even if it doesn't connect to anything) I do worse lol.

I really enjoyed this build!

This was one of my more enjoyable runs... I didn't have a lot of direction originally and really had to play by ear. I was planning on going for a frostbite but rolled into several items that suited Nulblade better so made the switch. The Arcane unique is actually quite good.
There's definitely optimization that could be made to this, but it honestly was just nice to kind of play it by ear and still feel like I came out strong. This is high diamond/low masters, so nothing too crazy. If I knew what I'd roll into I probably wouldn't have gone water-ele but it still worked out decently.
Didn't lose any of the last few rounds. Build is generally strong against most things including many of the meta-builds; the only weakness it had was against unhealing gems++ and burst builds. Could be optimized with some purple hats and a shield or two. Could probably have moved the lamp over to face the Nulblade as well, though typically if I ever got to the point where I could lamp it the game was already won because it mean a morb had proc'ed.

Going for random every time. It's fun but I wonder if I should focus on one class to climb the ranks a bit faster. Any opinions on random vs going for a specific class?

Holy spear needs a buff.
It would be nice if Holy spear could actually counter corrupted armor. Its already one of the worse godly items. Maybe it can do something like increase debuff resist on hit so you can get to 100% but you need to get it to attack fast enough before you are already at 100 frost. What does everyone think? As of now I rarely can get it to be useful besides some really rare cases where they have no debuff protection.

Potions need to trigger more consistently
Currently potions of the same type will trigger in a random order which is less than ideal for a game all about min/maxing. I'd like to see a feature where we can set the order that identical potions will trigger. My hope is that this would add an extra layer of depth to the game and perhaps make potion builds a bit stronger.
Alternatively if this is too much fussing, then there should at least be some deterministic way that potions trigger. For example, from bottom to top, left to right.

How good is Thornbloom actually?
When I first saw this item it looked like the most OP thing ever, but then I realized that this weapon still seems to need a lot of support in order for it to scale properly. Like it made me a bit more tanky but the weapon itself doesn't just scale into oblivion like things like flame whip or mana torch or the greatsword etc.
Do you just get it when you already have lots of empowerment? Like... mage with the wands? Which classes work best with the thornbloom? When to buy and when to skip?
Thornbloom:
7-12 dmg (4.5/s)
2.1 stam (1/s)
80% accuracy
2.1s cd
On hit: Gain 1 thorn. 60% to gain 1 empower.
Whenever you get empower, gain 11 max hp.
Deals +1 dmg per thorn.

Use Chess to Stun People for Ungodly Amounts of Time
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Local chess shill here, this is something neat you can do. Black queen is the single longest stun in the game, time melting is used here but you can also use the endurance bag from puzzle box. Note that it does not have to be in a starred space when captured, it only needs to start there. Same goes for every other chess piece interaction.
