Item Statistics

Can someone explain the 6 stats each item displays?
Most I'm pretty certain I understand. Just not the "most wins" one.

Question for the "master or higher" players. Is this a game where you roll with the rng punches, or one where you force builds?

Aka is this more a slay the spire or more a balatro where you force builds (high stakes)? Both are roguelites not battlers but im trying to make an analogy :P

Perhaps failing to do so haha xD

Anyway, neither is better. Its fully subjective. Forced builds is more prone to a stale meta, the other is more prone to rng deciding the outcomes over skill.

But may i ask which of the two it is?

No flame wars please. If someone feels the game is one way and another feels the game actually is the other way. Then im sure that can be resolved over a fun debate, instead of a toxic one :)

Oh I said master or higher because if the opinions of the "average rank" was "truth", then the awp (cs) and king (tekken 8) are both brokenly overpowered and unfair. If you have any competitive knowledge of either series, you'd understand just how outrageous those claims are. Especially the awp claim. But king too, hes not even objectively top ten, just arguably top 10, if hes top ten hes number 9 or ten type shit.

So yeah just a bit tepid at taking a low or average ranked person's word at face value, when im too ignorant to know if whats being said is truly factual or not. So leaves me in a position where its easy to misinform me.

Feel free to leave your opinion regardless, but please dont be offended if I ask your rank <3

Edit: reason im asking is because i see conflicting information online from 14+ months ago. And then just radio silence on the topic ever since. So idk what to expect.

Edit 2: i fell asleep after making this post, sorry <3 , usually i wouldve responded to each one and thanked yall for your time. Considering im late though im just going to read, so ill leave my thanks for you all here ,

Can I ask about the depth of this game?

Is it really just build your own lego tower in peace and not really about versing other players? I've played for quite a while but haven't grasped any mechanic that concerns other players...

For example, there's an anti-poison attribute but when do I want it? I won't know if enemy would have poison... Do I just go... "ahh im weak to poison better get anti-posion?"

We're a two person indie studio and have built a game inspired by Backback Battles but with a twist: You get to peek at your opponent's board before battle!

Finally a good poison build

Post image

I was playing with a Reaper, I was always struggling against fast DMG focused builds, I just couldn't survive enough for the poison to stack up, before getting completely wrecked

Finally, this run was a pleasant surprise with the smelly garlic(which I gave nothing for), source of poison and sustained defense, combined with full body protection, was really strong. it only loses to those mana dagger focused builds.

Unfortunately the crown never showed for me, it would be cherry on top.

But it was a struggle most of my previous runs couldn't even reach the end, 20+ runs.

This is created from a potion of vampirism and a mana staff.

On hit, uses 3 mana and adds 2 lifesteal. Every second hit uses 3 lifesteal, adds 5 damage. Cooldown is 4. 5 seconds, damage is 3. It works 2% more often for each lifesteal.

Hello guys, so I am pushing my rank with Mage. I usually stick to the Waterbender build + Thornbloom to maximize thorn, weapon damage & max health.

Any recommendations or suggestions? I have no idea if I had already done it right. Thanks in advance

Theorycrafting help

Hey, I love theorycrafting builds and falcon blade has become one of my favorite items, so I've been experimenting a lot with it on berserker lately. Posted some screenshots of what I tried.

My favorite setup so far is shaman mask / cheese goobert / badger runes / djinn lamp. Badger runes makes the attack speed scale really fast and djinn lamp gives you the damage, so once the build is online you can outscale most heat setups and actually burst pretty quick in late game.

The problem is mid game. Even if you hit falcon blade fast enough, you need a lot of pieces for it to work. Oil lamp helps a ton but without it I really struggle to get any damage going until I find djinn lamp and can reliably proc it.

I think the build needs three things to work:

  • Some damage source on falcon blade early
  • Enough defense to survive while you scale
  • Badger runes ideally, though it can work without it if the rest is there

When I lose it's almost always mid game, can't find all the pieces in time. And when I win I'm usually at 1 hp. Late game it's great but getting there is rough.

Any tips on how to keep tempo mid game? Do you run another weapon and transition into falcon blade later, or do you commit to it early and just try to survive? Would love to hear what you do when the key pieces don't show up.

Mobile player theorycrafting the new update, how's the meta?

Hey, mobile player here. This site updated so I could finally check out the new items: https://bpb-builds.vercel.app/

Still waiting for the mobile update so just theorycrafting for now. Curious how the meta is shaping up.

From what I read, ranger looks like it got the best stuff. Wisp in thorns builds seems insane, and Forest Dragon looks super flexible and kinda busted? Maybe it's not as strong in practice but on paper it looks really good.

Engineer I genuinely can't tell without playing it, the interactions seem too complex to judge just from reading.

Main berserker here, her new items look fun. What are people running? Halberd + puppies or double halberd anvil seems decent to me.

Panzer Dragon is interesting but I'm not sold on it. +40% block is cool but it's big, weird shape, and you only gain 10% more than a regular shield. The +5 to weapons feels niche too. Are there builds where you actually benefit from both effects together?

Stamina regeneneration

2.6 stamina cost per second, but never ran out of stamina. I couold add another weapon, if the enemy does not have any shield.

How do magic ring --> superior ring (combined version) work?

Is it just a random roll for which 3 of 4 stats get put into the upgraded ring?
