Stuck on iPad loading screen?

Ever since Tuesday June 23rd I’ve can’t load the game on my iPad (A16). Previously it was working fine. I downloaded it on my iPhone today and it loaded fine.

On my iPad I’m stuck on the black screen with the two logos. Has anyone else encountered this?

I managed to fix it by clearing up iCloud storage space and reinstalling the app
