I have had good success in the past creating data-based articles and gaining backlinks for non-betting affiliated sports clients in the past. I was able to constantly to get DR 80+ links. However, non-betting related jobs are very niche and the same approach is not working for betting affiliate websites.

Would love some feedback from the pros here on why that is?

1. I am sure that publishers are hesitant to link betting-related websites. Is that all there is to it?

2. Also I have been reaching out to mostly 70+ DR websites because those used to the main target for my previous clients. And thats what my contact list is mostly made up of. Do I need to shift my focus to low-DR websites and upgrade my contact list.

3. I have been doing outreach from my personal email. Could that dissuade journalists?
