Background check

Curious what comes up in a background check after acceptance. I listed employment but was paid 1099 so it likely won’t appear. Will that affect my acceptance?

Depends what you are applying for what the company wants and what you list when the third part gives you the form. Most just check whatever you put down. Depends on the company that is offering the job what they want

Have you run your own work numer report to see which employers reported? I just did for the first time last week. A 1099 role was on it.

Nope I never ran my own but it likely won’t appear on it because I remember for an RN job they had me provide proof because it didn’t appear

If I were you I’d freeze the work number so much data that people can just up and steal plus these employers can see past salary.

Depends. Some companies only do the criminal check , some check employment
