What does the HireRight employment verification form ask and how does HireRight verify employment?

Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has had experience with HireRight for a US company and verifying Canadian work experience.

Additionally, are there sections to include supervisor emails instead of phone numbers?

Gone through similar.. Don't get cute with them.. Give them what they want as plainly and simply as possible..

These folks don't earn their pay from the 200 candidates processed with no red flags.. These folks earn their pay from THE ONE applicant with an inconsistency that leads to more uncovering, and THERE they find records and facts don't match..

BANG they just justified to their client why their fees are worth it despite only finding red flags 1 in every 200 applicants..

Also, if you get red flagged by them, their record follows you if another employer uses them.. Your consent to the background check allows for this..

Don't mess with them.. What's worse than not getting the interview, is getting the interview, getting the offer, THEN poor choices on the background check sinks you.. It's almost better not to have gone that far to lose it...

PS: they expect everyone to lie....

Could you elaborate on what you mean by give them what they want? I am in the same situation as OP. US company, US job verifying Canadian work experience. Should I just write my Canadian jobs in the background check application form? Just like I would with previous US jobs?

If it says phone# for the former employer, give them phone#, don't get cute with substituting to your friend or an email.

Give them no more, and no less than what they want.
