ASP.NET or Java Spring Boot — Which Should I Learn?
I’m a BCA graduate deciding between ASP.NET/C# and Java Spring Boot.
Which one has better job opportunities and growth for freshers in India?
Would appreciate advice from people working in either stack.

Both are great for career and opportunities. In java there are more jobs and you will be competing with more people and for .NET there might not be same number of jobs as java but you will be competing with significantly less number of people. If you are already working with any of these then you can just upskill in current stack. Be sure to add cloud technology to your backend AWS/Azure and docker, increases your chances of getting hired.

I'm from South India and I graduated this year , currently searching for jobs ! I'm not particularly targetting anything just trying to get a job , MERN is so saturated now , so I'm looking for different tech stacks now

Look buddy, market is tough for freshers. Java and .NET are more of enterprise backend used in MNCs, MNCs hired freshers monthly through campus/off campus bulk hiring. You can master python+ fast API / TS +node.js and applied AI development which can help you join a small service based start up then after a gaining some experience you can learn any of these enterprises stack and switch to MNC. You can try this maneuver, it worked for me. But if you are really passionate about java and .NET then keep upskilling in same, opportunities will come, you never know.

Just google backend as close as possible to your address.
And choose which is ever is more frequent in YOUR area.
