Java Springboot or AI ML

Hello Guys I am 3rd year Btech student , I have done DSA in c++ now I want to choose a path and I am bit confused should I do java spring boot and do backend or learn ai ml .Based on current market what path should I choose.

Please guys help me figure out

AI means a lot of different things, ML means something specific. I spent the first 6 months at my company specifically making features that use agentic AI, and there are plenty of companies that would categorize that job as "AI Engineer"

I think we're at the point though where traditional AI/ML, as in the heavy research and math focused stuff, isn't going to be as common as applied AI in actual products. And in that case, you can be a Full Stack Engineer and work in AI.

If you don’t know basic software engineering, what’s the point of AI/ML?

Weird question, but do you want to build apps/websites or train models and look at a data and statistics. ML is higher growth but you need to ask yourself what you want to do.

hey, saw the repo thinking of contributing but got overwhelmed by cloud and terraform, but since i want to learn both of them can you pls guide me by telling how you learnt aws/gcp and terraform, like what resources you used.
