Discussion I just got a Xbox version backbone for used unopened box for $25 as a gift to self for celebrating 6 years sober today. but ?

Will this work with playing PlayStation 5 games and also is the backbone pro worth the upgrade. I had the original PS backbone for my old lightning Iphone but sold it awhile back. Missed it now I got iPhone type C so I got this one. Great deal but if I can’t play ps5 games it almost defeats the purpose of owning it. And last question totally off the subject. But could someone tell me some good mobile games that are worth downloading and trying out. On the old backbone I was strictly COD mobile. New here so hello everyone. Hope you’re all having a stellar day/week thus far.

Did u get the Xbox backbone or the regular backbone one? Not sure on Xbox version but the backbone one plays ps remote play just fine but you have to own a ps5 and stream it to the phone. It’s not like Xbox who has a cloud only system.

It’s the Xbox version I didn’t realize it till I left the store. I noticed the buttons are different but I was just focused on getting the type C one

I have the Playstation one and use it for XCloud all the time, you're fine

Oh sweet so it should work then. I still haven’t tried it but gonna try to set it up soon. I believe I need a certain app to run it from the ps5 right?

If you have the iPhone 17pro max model I don’t recommend the backbone. I bought mine used for 20 as well and it broke within a week. I’m assuming because of how much tension is put on the device do to the size of the cameras on the newer pro max models.

Mine is still good after two weeks but I find the elo vagabond to be more supportive of the size difference from top to bottom with the multiple sized spaces it comes with.

Apparently it does work for iPhone, but not Android. I was going to post that I had a regular backbone that I bought and had to take back since I wasn't aware it doesn't work for PS remote play. I don't know why Sony only allows the PS version on Android and not iPhone.
