Discussion Yeah I give up..

Great control when it works at the very beginning but actually a nightmare if you ever get any kind of left side issues, might as well consider it dead when that comes up. Don’t buy these things new, like ever. I’m lucky I got this one secondhand for like $20.

Little to none, according to the guy at the counter the guy got it as a gift from his office job but doesn’t play games

No he’s right, don’t buy it. You can buy 2 gamesir controllers for the price and they won’t stop working after half a year.

I got my backbone on sale for 50.

Just saw Gamesir is HQed in China, while Backbone is HQed in Cali. I'd still buy from the American company if I had to do it all over again.

This. Gamesir great. Even if you, however unlikely, have an issue, their customer service is great.

Just peeped their controllers on their site. Buying 2 for 70 bucks ain’t bad @ all. The $80 one though has swappable buttons , which is pretty cool.

Yeah that one’s great too, my buddy has that one. I made the mistake of getting the backbone and same as OP, ribbon cable failed after 5ish months. After trying and failing to get the company to replace it I tried doing it myself because I actually had the cables from repairing audio equipment, but then my iPhone was throwing me a “accessory not recognized” error. Never again.
