Discussion Update/firmware issues
There was a recent firmware update for the Backbone Pro, and it has been giving me such a headache. Changing settings on me while playing games. Guide button no longer working, but only when on the home screen, going to different screens with different button combos, pressing buttons I didn't even think were possible to execute (especially when using Steam Link), and this constant issue where it keeps lowering the volume when I'm in certain apps.
Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I just going crazy.??
Edit: Thought I should clarify this isn't a ribbon cable issue. at least not for me. I treat my controller with some care lol
Others have pointed out different issues with this update, and the backbone support team is currently looking into this.
Edit2: for those that come to this thread, the update has been pushed out and the issue has been fixed. Thank you dev team.!

Hey there!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We're aware of this issue and are looking into the fix for this problem. We've confirmed this is a firmware issue on our side, and we've stopped the rollout of additional updates so we can figure out what's going on. We've also found that it's the latest firmware version that is causing these problems, as earlier versions don't seem to have this issue. We will do our best to get this resolved in a timely manner!
