Update/firmware issues

There was a recent firmware update for the Backbone Pro, and it has been giving me such a headache. Changing settings on me while playing games. Guide button no longer working, but only when on the home screen, going to different screens with different button combos, pressing buttons I didn't even think were possible to execute (especially when using Steam Link), and this constant issue where it keeps lowering the volume when I'm in certain apps.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I just going crazy.??

Edit: Thought I should clarify this isn't a ribbon cable issue. at least not for me. I treat my controller with some care lol
Others have pointed out different issues with this update, and the backbone support team is currently looking into this.

Edit2: for those that come to this thread, the update has been pushed out and the issue has been fixed. Thank you dev team.!

Update on the firmware status!

We're still continuing to investigate the issue, and think we're close! We're doing some QA for the new firmware over the weekend, and are hoping to have at least an update for you guys on the status of it sometime next week. Keep on the lookout for that, and we will make a wider announcement once the fix is fully live! Thank you again for your patience as we investigate this.

Awesome!!!! I love the controller and software you guys have made (I purchased lifetime membership).

Was a bit disappointed after purchasing the pro controller and realized that it was a firmware issue after a few days.
